We've talked to different members of the group and it seems that they have worked on things. The group will continnue their tours. And as a family, some of the issues will remain between them.

As a member of Les Freres and La famille Deronette, the Deronette family would like to inform our fans and media that this is a "false Statement". The family is not please with this statement and found it to be very offensive.

Dear Caring Individual,
Hunger, Helplessness, Poverty, Riots
These words are a reality for millions of Haitians every single second of their lives. In the recent weeks, the issues of hunger and poverty have become relevant at a fevered pitch. The worst part of the whole situation is that we hear what’s going on and feel as though we can’t do anything to help.
“How can one person help a nation?” Part of a solution is here and has become reality. It cannot possibly be one person, but a group of individuals willing to work together and realize a common goal. On July 15th, a coalition of Haitian leaders, business owners, radio sponsors and religious leaders are taking the lead to spearhead a campaign to provide food, food supplies, toiletries and more to people in Haiti, specifically patients in the General Hospital and their families living in Port-au-Prince.
I, Brunel Deronette, of the Haitian gospel group, “Les Freres Deronette (The Deronette Brothers) and who is also the principal officer for the charitable organization, “What’s Mine Is Yours” spent five years of my young life in and out of the General Hospital. My memories there include agonizing leg pain and numerous surgeries to both legs. During a recent mission trip to the Hospital in July 2007, I was shocked to see that the hospital that gave me so much had deteriorated just as much. Patients were on their beds without clothes, no air circulation in the tight rooms, and the facilities were unkempt and filthy to say the least. I made a decision that the next time I visited the hospital I would do more to help.
It is with this spirit of compassion that this coalition of people and I have committed our time and strength to this goal and respectfully pleads with anyone
interested to share with a donation of any kind to render aid to these people. This work is solely dependent on what they can gather from people like you, so anyone interested can send donations to:

On behalf of Les Freres Deronette, we want to thank the above statement made by one of our wonderful fan and as mentioned on that statement....Satan pa kontan le pitit bondye ap fe travay, ebyen Les Freres DERONETTE ap kotinye PILE TET SATAN....Tankou nou te fe nan OTTAWA ak Montreal, Canada weekend sa kote Rosiny(this is the guy),Wilson, Andy, BLANC,Geromene, Martinne, et Casimir Deronette te bay yon belle performance(as always). The people of Canada were blessed and the Deronette Family thank God for that.
