This is very good. Very strong message. Sad at the same time to look at how our country is. Voodoo all over and they don't serve Christ. This is very sad for the haitian people.

Its not only Haitians that practice vodou, there are a number of different terms for vodou and it is widely practiced worldwide in almost every culture.

There is a Manbo who stated on the web that she loves konpa music because it has tanbou and she feels good when she listens to konpa, please don't be quick to judge people who practice vodou while secular music is being played in the Church.

Haitians are very hard working people who are also very disciplined. Haitians always try to master anything that they try to do, as in every culture there are Christians and non-Christians.

Je suis, I didn't hear the Words due to the profane beat, God's music is Sacred.

If this band keeps it up they might be able to play in the Konpa Festival 2010.

Verite.. My question to you is what do you mean by "profane beat"?

Im not a fan of Kompa/konpa (idk how u spell it) But what i have learned is to get the message of the song. If then they are not glorifying God then fine say as you please.

The bible tells us to sing with understanding, and tell us to "praise God in His Sanctuary then list the many instruments that are used to Praise God" When it comes to this style Music Yea you hear it in the wrst places BUt when its come into the House of God where the ppl are singing Praises Unto God, it transforms the whole "voodoo and witchcraft stuff."

As for your say on Secular music being played in the Church. I dont know what chruches you've been to that played secular music, if so you may have walked into a "new age religon" type Church. If you mean the secular beats being taken and Christian Lyrics added to the beats. Im kinda iffy on that Subject. I have no problem with the words that are changed to Glorify God. BUt the beat will have ppl singing the wrong song...

I think Verite has been expose to too much Djakout Mizik. Mizik monden yo monte nan tet li fe li vinn pa ka konprann sa kap fet la. Verite probably listen to more monden music than anybody here. Look up the word "sacred" and "profane".
